Hi Janet! Thanks for the post. I have to say that I'm envious of you building a log cabin in the woods of Quebec. That's my ideal summer home!!
Cyber school is an online-high grade school. So, instead of my son attending a public brick and mortar school, he stays at home and takes his classes online. He has teachers, classmates and classrooms -- all online. They do also have field trips where they can actually meet each other in person. It's not really homeschooling (except that he's at home), because it's an accredited school and I'm not the teacher. It works great for him!
